In the first installment of The Courageous 3 Trilogy, meet our protagonists as they stumble upon hidden truths that thrust them into the heart of political deceit. With unwavering determination, they begin to uncover a sinister alliance between the government and the mob. Their journey is fraught with danger, but their courage knows no bounds.
- C2C is the primary defense contractor and a high-tech weapons supplier to the US government with the assistance of three top corrupt US Senators, All three are members of the GOP, but they are assisted by the current Speaker of the House, a Democrat.
- C2C was into gambling, distilling of spirits, AI technologies, animal growth hormones, armaments, banking, and money laundering internationally.
- The Godfather of C2C, Nicola Scoroti, was a financial genius, and his goal was to eliminate the other mafia families both domestically and internationally, especially the Russian Mafia who had intentions to take over the Kremlin and its caches of WMDs.
- Antonia Scoroti, daughter of Nicola, was the former Ms Yellow Rose of Texas and had attended Heritage University of Texas and dated the star wide receiver of the HUTS, AJ Morales.
- AJ Morales was the son of the first Hispanic Governor of Montana who was politically destroyed by the corrupt Senior Senator Parker Cowell, one of the corrupt three senator loyal to Nicola. He and Charlie Pendergast, the all-star QB of the HUTS, teamed up and took the HUTS to the Championship.
- Charlie was the son of Admiral Charles Pendergast III, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff .
- C2C attempted to throw the college championship and pay off players on both sides to drop passes etc. They saw a huge gambling return if the HUTS lost. But their main intention was to cripple the QB, Charlie Pendergast, with a compound fracture of his leg so he was eliminated from the NPFL draft. Their plan succeeded.
- Nicola Scoroti instructed his daughter Antonia to drop her boyfriend, AJ Morales, and seduce, marry and have a child with QB Charlie so that he would join the family business, C2C, and eventually become the CEO. This would tie the Admiral’s hands, and he would be controlled by C2C. Their plan almost worked!
- AJ, in depression, joined the Armed Forces and sacrificed the NPFL draft booty. He became a PJ, Para Jumper Medic, in Afghanistan and was wounded in action. AJ met an undercover CIA agent who saved him and then showed him that C2C in addition to all the contract funds garnered from the US was also harvesting the poppy fields, mining Lithium and selling high tech arms. The CIA agent provided AJ with proof to show the authorities, and AJ agreed to expose C2C activities.
- Julia Abbott from Boseman, MT, was sponsored to West Point by Senator Parker Cowell and at the rank of Major was deployed and seriously wounded in Iraq. Cowell made her a hero and pawn, awarded her the Congressional Medal of Honor, and made her a lobbyist for C2C.
- Nicola’s estranged wife Benedetta and daughter Antonia despised him and wanted to bring him down, and they did so on the Ides of March at the Falls on the Ohio River in Louisville, KY. She and her mother wanted to accelerate their ascent into being the mob bosses of the planet.
- Nicola impregnated his housekeeper and then sent her to Mexico to be ’taken care of’ by the Mexican cartel as a favor. The Cartel failed to do its job fast enough, and a son resulted. Over the years, the bastard son’s intelligence showed through, and American CIA agents saw him as helpful to their quest to eliminate the Cartel. They educated him in the US, including obtaining a JD. His name was Dieg, and he became a combination FBI and CIA agent.
- Benedetta, who thought perhaps that Dieg was an heir and could be groomed to replace her and her daughter, Antonia. If she ultimately became the Godmother of the underworld, then Antonia could follow.
- Benedetta killed at a mafia shoot out on a cold night which left only Antonia and the bastard son, Dieg. Dieg had his manhood removed by Antonia and was left to bleed out.
- AJ returned to the US and ran for Congress in a new Hispanic district in Heritage City and won. He then worked with the FBI to take down C2C.
- After she was presented with the evidence, Julia agreed to assist in bringing down C2C and cooperated with the FBI. The corrupt Senators made several failed attempts to eliminate the threesome. Julia and AJ tried to ask Charlie, his former friend, to help the FBI. Then, the Senators asked for a meeting at a neutral site, located at the FBI / CIA Compound, Club Safe.
- The FBI solicited the help of Charlie and AJ because the Senators were said to be ready to make a deal, but only if AJ and Charlie were there. They were ambushed, an FBI Agent was killed, and Senator Parker Cowell, the corrupt US Senator, was killed by a smart arrow launched from the ClubSafe Compound where Julia was waiting. Julia was known to be one of one hundred ‘Hawkeye’ sharp shooters in the US Army and had been trained in the use of smart arrows; speculation followed.
- Following the elimination from power of the three Senators, Julia was appointed to take Cowell’s seat in the Senate by the Governor of Montana. This propelled her and the other two, AJ and Charlie, into what became known as the Courageous 3, legends as a crime fighting and winning team.
